2. If you receive "Not Eligible for Unlock", please proceed and submit your IMEI # for processing.
3. If you receive "Communication Error" or "Server not responding, please try again later", DO NOT submit your order as it is not supported for unlocking (no refunds will be provided for any orders submitted with either of these error messages).
If it states Communication / Server Error, you can try to fix this error by performing a hard reset on your phone, or upgrading firmware to latest version or making sure clock (time) is accurate and correct. If this doesnt fix, we dont have any other solution.
Again make sure your phone can communicate with "Device Unlock App" and it shows "INELIGIBLE UNLOCK" BEFORE place your order. Once order is complete, it will be ELIGIBLE and you will perform instructions below.
Once the unlock request is processed, you'll need to:
1. Make sure you have an active data connection via 3G/4G/LTE or Wi-Fi.
2. From the Application list, tap Device Unlock. (Note: The application may be located in the MetroPCS folder.)
3. Tap Continue.
4. Choose the Permanent Unlock type:
5. If successful, restart the device to apply the settings.
